What We Do

Ashby's Adventure Trails and Treks organises runs and trail runs in Coventry, and walks, treks and mountain climbs in Wales and some of the most beautiful and remote locations in the UK. Whatever your ability and your personal goals, join us for an unforgettable experience in the great outdoors.

Here at Ashby’s Adventure Trails and Treks, we believe that fresh air and exercise are vital for your health. So, we want to help you get out into the countryside, move your body, and immerse yourself in nature. Friendly and supportive, we welcome everyone, whatever your fitness level.

Running

O to 5km Running Courses, Longer Runs, and Trail Runs

We offer 0 to 5km running courses to get you off to a running start! Our couch to 5k course for beginners is on a Tuesday evening at 6.30 in the War Memorial park, Coventry. 

 

If you can run 5km or further, join one of our training sessions in Coventry on a Wednesday evening, or a longer run on a Sunday morning. We run in Coventry and Warwickshire and when conditions allow, we like to run away from busy roads and in more rural locations.

Walking

Trekking, Hiking and Mountain Exploration

We organise walks and hikes in Derbyshire, Wales, Scotland, the Lake District, and other locations in the UK.

​

Our treks take you off the beaten path, away from towns, cities, and busy areas, and immerse you in nature. An experienced guide will accompany you every step of the way, so you’re never alone, vulnerable, or at risk of getting lost.

Team Building, Personal Development, and Away Days

Ashby’s Adventure Trails and Treks offers courses for teams of employees to facilitate mental and emotional wellbeing. 

 

Our courses give participants the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues while enjoying fresh air and exercise, learning new skills, and creating fantastic memories.

Run With Us! If you can run at least 5km, you can sign up for one of our day or overnight events.  Ashby’s Adventure Trails and Treks takes runners of all abilities on trail runs of various distances in beautiful countryside locations in the UK. Join us for a run through woods, and along tracks, paths, dirt roads, and mixed terrain, or even the coast. ​ For overnight events, we like to stay in youth hostels because they are ideally located for our adventures! Private en-suite rooms are available, and we'll do all we can to cater to your requirements. Any questions, just ask!

Walk With Us.... Walking is a great way to clear your head, exercise, and explore new territory. And, being outside and among nature is great for mood and better mental health. Would you like to explore more challenging terrain?  With a mountain warfare specialist and top rope and abseiling instructor on our team, we can safely escort you to new heights. Build on your fitness and push your limits. Now there's no excuse to put off that outdoor adventure you've always dreamed about. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss a bespoke route.

More and more people are working from home and, unfortunately, there can be negative repercussions for mental health.  ​ Get in touch to start planning a fun event for work colleagues or team members. We can incorporate kayaking, survival skills, and even cold water swimming into your bespoke experience.
