About the event
At the start of the 20th century, Dinorwic quarry was the second largest slate quarry in Wales. It’s now closed, but there’s plenty to see and explore, including the National Slate Museum and many original Victorian structures.
For this hike, we'll explore the quarry, and walk around to Elidir Fach and Elidir Fawr. It's a tough walk and you’ll need the correct hiking gear and plenty of stamina, but it will be well worth the effort.
